The election of our new Board officers reinforces our commitment to sound governance, focused advocacy, and measurable impact for our members. My sincere thanks to our Nomination and Election Committee for ensuring a process grounded in integrity and professionalism.

In this issue, we share highlights from my AGM report and reaffirm three guiding priorities for 2026: strengthening our structure and governance; deepening advocacy and partnerships; and enhancing membership value and engagement. Our membership survey results strongly reinforce these priorities, highlighting the importance of meaningful engagement, robust advocacy platforms, and timely insights to support members’ business growth.

This year’s AGM and Sustainability Forum brought together innovators, leaders, and changemakers united by a common purpose: transforming ideas into action and vision into lasting impact. Since 2022, SwissCham Philippines has grown through the dedication of our members and partners—and 2025 has shown what we can achieve when integrity, innovation, and impact guide our collective work.

The September issue of SwissCham Philippines Business E-Journal celebrates Switzerland’s enduring global leadership in innovation, sustainability, and responsible business, while highlighting SwissCham’s expanding role in fostering trade, investment, and collaboration between Switzerland and the Philippines.

The August 2025 issue of the SwissCham Philippines Business E-Journal highlights Switzerland’s commitment to export excellence, sustainability, and partnership-driven growth under the theme “Working Together to Strengthen Economies.” Leading the issue is a report from Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) showing that every Swiss franc invested in export promotion now generates CHF 34 in export sales, reflecting the resilience and global competitiveness of Swiss SMEs—key partners in markets such as Southeast Asia and the Philippines.

Switzerland is once again the world’s most competitive economy, topping the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2025. Known for its strong institutions, robust infrastructure, and adaptable governance, Switzerland reinforces the value of long-term stability in a rapidly changing global environment.
