ESG, Impact & Sustainability
The Council supports and encourages its member-companies to monitor, communicate, and exchange information on ESG (environmental, social and governance), economic, and sustainability practices towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) while it maintains that global business accountability is a shared focus. The Council further aligns itself with the initiative of the Swiss Confederation's SECO (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs) in Sustainability Reporting for Responsible Business.
Aid Line Philippine-Swiss
Formally established in 2011 through the initiative of PSBC, Aid Line Philippine-Swiss or ALPS is the CSR arm of the Philippine-Swiss business community in the country. Its Board of Trustees, volunteers, and donors are from the ranks of the PSBC with the altruistic participation of Filipino and Swiss groups and individuals from across the country.
Call for Impact and Sustainability Stories
As a business association intent on bridging trade and investment between the Philippines, Switzerland and EU countries, here’s our opportunity to project our collective effort.
Believing in our mission, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) signified its support to PSBC through a signed Memorandum of Understanding last November 10, 2021. GRI will support PSBC’s production of an Impact study to highlight PSBC member-companies sustainability contributions to the community. In addition, GRI will also work with PSBC to increase our capacity towards sustainability reporting.
To jumpstart our commitment, we are collecting entries for our digital publication, dubbed as “PSBC IMPACT STORIES”.
