Business E-Journal: April 2026

March and April have been months of meaningful conversations—where ideas were not only shared, but grounded in a common desire to turn intention into real impact.
At our Policy-to-Practice Roundtable, it was encouraging to hear Director General Paolo Teston speak candidly about the FDA’s ongoing reforms. What stood out for me was the shared recognition that strong policies are only as effective as their implementation. Progress is clearly underway, but it also reminded us that industry, regulators, and stakeholders all play a role in making systems work better for patients.
This spirit of shared responsibility carried into our High-Level Dialogue on Women’s Health. Listening to Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa and advocates like Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala was both sobering and inspiring. The “1-in-13” reality is urgent, but the dialogue showed that solutions are within reach when we align policy, access, and community support.
In a different but equally important vein, our Leadership Conversations in March reminded us—through voices like Gilbert Camasura—that in a rapidly evolving world, it is still people, trust, and purpose that drive performance.
Across all these engagements, I am reminded that what connects our work is the commitment to bridge gaps—between policy and practice, innovation and access, and leadership and humanity.
