Business E-Journal: January-February 2026

Posted on February 2, 2026

We enter 2026 with strengthened leadership and clear priorities.

The election of our new Board officers reinforces our commitment to sound governance, focused advocacy, and measurable impact for our members. My sincere thanks to our Nomination and Election Committee for ensuring a process grounded in integrity and professionalism.

This Jan–Feb issue reflects our direction for the year ahead.

We are advancing our Membership 3E Strategy — Expand, Engage, and Re-Engage — with an emphasis on purposeful engagement and long-term value creation. Central to this is the Policy-to-Practice Roundtable Series, which facilitates structured dialogue between industry and regulators. By clarifying implementation realities and aligning expectations, we support compliance readiness while enabling constructive private sector input.

Sustainability remains a strategic priority. Insights from our Sustainability Forum highlight the importance of coordinated action among government, business, and communities to advance the circular economy and strengthen resilience.

This issue also showcases member leadership in action: ERNI’s investment in digital talent development; HILTI’s support for engineering education at UP; and healthcare leaders including Novartis, Roche, and Zuellig Pharma advancing innovation and access in critical areas of care.

Together, these initiatives reflect SwissCham’s role as a platform for responsible leadership, strategic partnership, and inclusive growth.

I invite you to explore this issue and engage actively in the programs that will shape our shared progress in 2026.
