SwissCham Philippines visits Pasig City to explore potential collaborations

The Swiss Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (SwissCham Philippines) Innovation Clusters visited Mayor Vico Sotto and Deputy Administrator Atty. Diego Luis Santiago of Pasig City. The meeting centered on the importance of innovation and forward-thinking strategies, fostering synergies between the public and private sectors to address pressing societal needs and drive sustainable growth in Pasig City.

Mayor Sotto outlined Pasig’s multifaceted focus areas, ranging from healthcare and education to housing and digitalization, underlining the city’s commitment to holistic development and efficient governance. SwissCham Philippines representatives showcased innovative programs. The presentations included efforts towards environmental circularity to contribute to the circular economy and initiatives focused on digitalization and cloud services, with an emphasis on digital design thinking methodologies. Discussions also covered the digitalization of the supply chain and innovative healthcare programs targeting prevalent issues such as breast cancer and cardiovascular health.

The dialogue also explored potential collaboration avenues to strengthen Pasig’s healthcare infrastructure and promote sustainable practices citywide. Discussions included implementing industry-leading initiatives within Pasig City’s healthcare system, leveraging the expertise and resources of SwissCham Philippines member companies to enhance service delivery and improve health outcomes for residents.
